Aug. 2025: AlgaBT LLC and Dr. Li at Univ. System of Maryland (USM) are awarded a Maryland Industrial Partnerships (MIPS) grant to continue our collaborative work on algae for carotenoid production.
Aug. 2024: AlgaBT LLC and Dr. Li at USM are awarded a MIPS)grant to work on algae for carotenoid production.
May 2023: We have ongoing negations with industrial partners to license our algae for astaxanthin technology.
March 2019: We welcome Dr. Jun Zhong on board as the Principle Scientist. Dr. Zhong received his Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from Johns Hopkins University and is a serial Biotech entrepreneur.
